Matt Slaby

Matt serves as a Program Director for Wisconsin Academy Basketball and is entering his seventh year in that role, along with his tenth year overall coaching within the program. He also coaches the 13U and 15U UA Rise girls teams. Additionally, Matt serves as one of our skills trainers, working closely with athletes on individual development and team-based growth.

Beyond coaching, Matt plays an important role in recruiting coordination for Wisconsin Academy, assisting players and families as they navigate the college recruitment process. He is also heavily involved in the program’s social media and marketing efforts, helping manage communication, promote events, and strengthen the overall visibility and brand of Wisconsin Academy Basketball.

Matt was a three-year varsity player at Stoughton High School from 2007–2010 before continuing his basketball career at NCAA Division III Loras College. His combined experience as a player, coach, and administrator allows him to contribute to all areas of the program while supporting a positive, organized, and development-focused environment for student-athletes
