Troy Slaby serves as a Program Director for Wisconsin Academy Basketball and is entering his sixth year as the Head Skills Trainer for the program. He brings extensive basketball knowledge to his role and plays a critical part in overseeing player development, team structure, and overall program operations. Troy also heads the recruiting operations for the boys program, working closely with athletes and families to guide the college recruitment process and prepare players for the next level.
In addition to his director responsibilities, Troy coaches the 13U UA Future, 15U, and 16U UA Rise teams, helping lead athletes through competitive, high-level environments with an emphasis on growth, accountability, and long-term development.
Troy played his high school basketball career at Stoughton High School from 2013–2017, where he was a four-year starting point guard. He earned four All-Conference selections and three All-Madison Area honors, and he currently holds Stoughton High School’s all-time records for points, assists, and steals. He went on to play collegiately at NCAA Division II Winona State University and NCAA Division III Loras College.
