SCOTT HETH

Coach Scott Heth is a father of four boys and a proud grandfather to a granddaughter who will turn two this July. He has been married to his wife for 12 years and values the strong family support behind his many years in sports.

Coach Heth played two years of junior college basketball, where he once shared the court with Isiah Thomas’s nephew. His love for the game led him into coaching, and he has now spent over 30 years coaching basketball at multiple levels.

Over the years, he has coached all four of his sons in various sports, though basketball has always been his greatest passion. He jokes that in three decades around the game, he has only been ejected from a gym once—and he wasn’t even the head coach that day.

Outside the gym, Coach Heth enjoys traveling, running daily, working out, and getting up shots whenever he can. He has also worked in law enforcement for the past 28 years, balancing his career with his commitment to family and basketball.
