WISCONSIN ACADEMY FALL AAU SEASON
Wisconsin Academy also offers a Fall Season that runs from mid-September through mid-to-late October. The fall season provides players and teams with an opportunity to build chemistry, establish team concepts, and gain valuable game experience before the spring and summer AAU season, while also helping athletes prepare for their upcoming winter school basketball seasons. Fall tryouts are held separately from spring/summer tryouts, and roster offers are extended independently for the fall season.

PRACTICE & TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES
Our Fall Season is designed to help players continue their development, build team chemistry, and prepare for their upcoming school basketball seasons. Teams practice once per week at our SEA Stoughton or Verona locations. In addition, all players participating in the Fall Season receive access to bi-weekly skill sessions, which are included in the cost of the season.
Practices begin in mid-to-late September, with tournament play starting in October. Teams participate in four total tournaments throughout October and November, with minimal travel required for families. This schedule allows players to compete in a high-level environment while maintaining balance with other fall commitments. The Fall Season concludes before Thanksgiving weekend.
SEASON LENGTH
The Fall Season begins with practices in mid-to-late September, with tournament play starting in mid-October and concluding prior to Thanksgiving weekend. This schedule is intentionally designed to provide players with additional development and competition opportunities while minimizing conflicts with their school basketball seasons. In most cases, there is no overlap with school basketball games, although a week or two of fall practices may coincide with the start of school team activities.
COST
The total cost for the 2026 Fall Season is $525 per player. This fee includes all team practices, four tournaments, a reversible Wisconsin Academy jersey top, and access to our bi-weekly skill development sessions. Please note that applicable sales tax and credit card processing fees may be due at the time of payment
PROGRAM COMMITMENT
At Wisconsin Academy, we value commitment, accountability, and being a great teammate. Once a player accepts a roster spot and commits to a team, we expect that commitment to be honored through the conclusion of the Fall Season. Team planning, tournament registrations, and roster construction are all based on committed players.
At the same time, we are strong advocates for multi-sport athletes and encourage players to participate in other sports. We believe competing in multiple sports helps athletes develop valuable skills, avoid burnout, and become more well-rounded competitors. We simply ask that families communicate schedules proactively so coaches can best support each player's commitments.
REFUND POLICY
Wisconsin Academy does not offer refunds once a player has committed to and accepted a roster spot for the Fall Season. Team fees are calculated based on the exact number of committed players, and tournament registrations, facility rentals, coaching assignments, uniforms, and other program expenses are planned accordingly.
We do not require remaining families to absorb the costs associated with players who choose to leave the program after committing. In rare and extreme circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the sole discretion of the Program Director.
