ALAN PERSINGER

Alan is originally from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, where he played three years of AAU basketball with the Howard Pulley Panthers in Minneapolis, traveling across the country to compete in top national tournaments. That experience led to the opportunity to play collegiate basketball at Montana State University and St. Cloud State University, where he also met his wife, Jaclyn, whose support for his love of the game has never wavered.

Basketball has remained an integral part of Alan’s life since his playing days. He stays actively involved in the game as a member of the McFarland High School Girls Basketball coaching staff, assisting with program camps and clinics, and has spent the past six years coaching his three daughters in McFarland.

Alan feels incredibly fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to teach and coach what he believes is the best game ever created, embracing the philosophy of “We > Me.”
