Jossie Peterson

Coach Peterson brings extensive experience and success to the sidelines, highlighted by seven seasons as a Varsity Assistant Coach at McFarland. She also served one season as the JV1 Coach at Verona Area High School.

Throughout her coaching career, Coach Peterson has contributed to three conference championships (two in the RVC and one undefeated Badger Small title), three regional championships, two sectional runner-up finishes, one sectional championship, and a WIAA Division 2 State Final Four appearance.

Her commitment to player development has helped guide multiple student-athletes to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level. She has also coached in the Division 2 WBCA All-Star Game and helped send three athletes to participate in that event.

Coach Peterson’s teams have earned numerous All-Conference selections, including Conference Players of the Year, All-State and over a dozen Academic All-State honorees. In recognition of her impact, she was named RVC Assistant Coach of the Year. She has also served as a speaker at both the WBCA and Youth WBCA conventions alongside the head coach, sharing her knowledge and passion for developing student-athletes on and off the court.
